Why Restoration
Path Therapy
Choosing a therapist is an important decision, and finding the right fit matters. At Restoration Path Therapy, I believe healing begins with a safe, supportive relationship where you feel heard, respected, and understood.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and practical. Together, we’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck, build healthier ways of coping, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
My Therapeutic Approach
No two people have the same story, which is why I tailor therapy to your unique needs, strengths, values, and goals. Using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, we'll work together to better understand your experiences, develop practical coping skills, and support meaningful progress at a pace that feels right for you.
Trauma-Informed Therapy
I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where healing can begin. My approach recognizes the impact of trauma while fostering trust, collaboration, empowerment, and resilience.
NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM)
NARM is a trauma-informed approach designed to address the lasting effects of developmental and relational trauma. Rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?" NARM explores how early life experiences may shape the way you relate to yourself, others, and the world today. Together, we'll build greater self-awareness, strengthen your connection to your authentic self, and support healthier patterns of relating.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT helps identify unhelpful thoughts and behaviors and replace them with healthier patterns that support emotional well-being and everyday functioning.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
DBT teaches practical skills to regulate emotions, tolerate distress, strengthen relationships, and practice mindfulness during life's challenges.
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
This collaborative approach helps you explore your strengths, clarify your goals, and build confidence and motivation to make positive changes.
Solution-Focused Therapy
Rather than focusing only on problems, we'll build on your existing strengths and identify practical, achievable steps toward the life you want.
Mindfulness-Based Techniques
Mindfulness helps increase self-awareness, reduce stress, and stay grounded in the present so you can respond thoughtfully rather than react automatically.
Faith-Integrated Therapy (Upon request)
For clients who desire it, I offer the option to thoughtfully integrate Christian faith into therapy. Faith-based counseling may include biblical principles, prayer, and spiritual reflection while always respecting your personal beliefs, goals, and preferences. Whether or not faith is incorporated, you can expect compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to your individual needs.
